Set horizontal relative print position

♦ Sets the print starting position based on the current position by using the horizontal or

vertical motion unit.

♦ This command sets the distance from the current position to [(nL + nH × 256)

×horizontal or vertical motion unit] inches

 Any setting that exceeds the printable area is ignored.

 When pitch N is specified to the right, nL+ nH × 256 = N.

 When pitch N is specified to the left (the negative direction): nL+ nH × 256 = 65536 -

 The print starting position moves from the current position to [N × horizontal or vertical

motion unit]

 The horizontal and vertical motion units are specified by GS P.

 In standard mode, the horizontal motion unit is used.

 In page mode, the horizontal or vertical motion unit differs as follows, depending on

the starting point of the printing area:

-When the starting position is set to the upper left or lower right of the printable

area using ESC T, the horizontal motion unit (x) is used.

-When the starting position is set to the upper right or lower left of the printable

area using ESC T, the vertical motion unit (y) is used.
