3.2.8 ENGAGEMENT RELEASE LEVER

The Engagement Release Lever provides a positive locking system between the

stacker and printer. This lever is used to “unlock” the stacker from the printer. To

disengage, push Engagement Release Lever down and pull the stacker away from the

printer. To engage, firmly push the stacker into the printer until the Engagement

Release Lever locks.

3.2.9 PRINTER ENGAGEMENT BRACKET

The Printer Engagement Bracket on the stacker consists of the Engagement Release

Lever and a U-shaped bracket with the three slots used to align and guide the stacker

into the printer. The corresponding Receiving Bracket on the printer consists of three

engagement pins to complete the locking mechanism.

3.3 ENGAGEMENT PROCEDURE:

1.) Align Printer Engagement Bracket on the

stacker with Receiving Bracket on the

printer.

2.) Push stacker towards printer until

Engagement Release Lever is firmly

locked onto receiving pins.
