CHAPTER 4: MODEL 466P - BASIC OPERATION

4.1 MEDIA LOADING DIAGRAM

4.2 MEDIA LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

1.) Rotate “HEAD LIFT KNOB” counter clockwise. Lift print head, remove and discard

remaining media.

2.) Load a new roll of media onto “MEDIA SUPPLY SHAFT”. (SEE DIAGRAM)

3.) Rotate “INTERNAL MEDIA GUIDE” (GREEN) outward and away from media path.

4.) Thread media through the printer according to the “MEDIA LOADING DIAGRAM”.

a.) Leading edge must be square.

b.) Leading edge of media must be placed

on the highest point of the rubber drive

roller. Refer to positioning sticker near

drive roller.

5.) Rotate “INTERNAL MEDIA GUIDE” (GREEN) down for printing.

6.) Lower print head and secure into locked position.

7.) Lower side cover.

8.) Push and release “TOF/Error Clear” button on front panel to continue.
